Description
The responsibility for approving and endorsing the business continuity framework, strategy, policies and plans fall on the shoulders of the BCM Steering Committee. In order to perform this role effectively, the BCM Steering Committee require a functional level of knowledge in BCM, and the skill to discern whether strategies and plans are viable or not. This 1-day course equips senior management with the necessary know-how to effectively review the BCM framework, strategy, policies and plans. The Facilitator will share with participants key principles with which to assess and evaluate these strategy and plans, and discuss on possible steps to take the BCM programme to the next level.
The course introduces key concepts in BCM including compliance requirements from industry standards such as ISO 22301. It also provides participants with a list of criteria which may be used as a quick reference during endorsement.
Duration
1 day (Half day assessment for Singapore classes is needed to obtain the Statement of Attainment (SOA) from the Workforce Development Agency (WDA)
