A President’s Perspective

Our collective efforts have enabled us to overcome hurdles, embrace innovation, and create a brighter future for ourselves and our organisation.

Dear Friends,

I hope this message finds you in good health and high spirits. As we enter 2024, I want to reflect on the challenges we have faced together and the achievements we are poised to accomplish.

2020 brought unprecedented disruptions and uncertainties, testing our resilience as an organisation. But instead of succumbing to the challenges, we adapted and evolved. We swiftly recognised the power of technology and the immense potential of online learning platforms. Embracing this new approach, we ensured that the continuity of education and training remained unhampered, even in the face of global adversity.

1.

Facing unprecedented
adversity due to the pandemic

First and foremost, let us acknowledge the tremendous effort we have put into managing the COVID-19 pandemic as a training institute. In the face of unprecedented adversity, we have demonstrated resilience, adaptability, and unwavering commitment to the well-being of our members. Our swift actions to implement safety protocols, remote work arrangements, and proactive communication have helped us navigate these uncertain times. While the battle against this global health crisis continues, we remain steadfast in our commitment to ensuring the safety and welfare of our members.

2.

Transition our courses to an online format
and high in-person experience.

I am thrilled to announce that we have made remarkable progress in our mission to provide high-quality education to our members. We have developed a fully functional blended learning approach for all our courses. This innovative approach combines the best online and in-person learning experiences, allowing us to reach a wider audience and cater to diverse learning preferences. By leveraging technology, we have created an interactive and engaging learning environment that fosters knowledge acquisition, critical thinking, and collaboration. Our blended learning model enables us to deliver comprehensive education while addressing the unique needs of each learner.

3.

Embrace digital platforms
and tools

Furthermore, all our courses are now supported by digitalisation. Our curriculum, resources, and learning materials are readily accessible online, empowering our members to engage with educational content anytime, anywhere. By embracing digital platforms and tools, we have enhanced the learning experience and facilitated seamless communication and collaboration among our members. The digitisation of our courses has significantly streamlined administrative processes, enabling us to allocate more time and resources towards enriching the educational journey of our members.

4.

Launch of our much-awaited Operational
Resilience training and certification course

In response to the growing global demand, I am thrilled to announce the launch of our operational resilience training and certification in 2023. In an ever-changing and complex business landscape, resilience has emerged as a critical skill set for professionals across industries. Our meticulously designed training program will equip our members with the knowledge, tools, and strategies to navigate challenges, adapt to disruptions, and emerge stronger. This certification will enhance our members’ professional growth and prospects and reinforce our organisation’s reputation as a leader in fostering operational excellence.

As we embark on this exciting journey, I want to thank all of you for your unwavering dedication and commitment. Our collective efforts have enabled us to overcome hurdles, embrace innovation, and create a brighter future for ourselves and our organisation.

Let us forge ahead with renewed determination, resilience, and optimism. With our shared vision, relentless pursuit of excellence, and unwavering support for one another, we will conquer the challenges ahead and achieve remarkable milestones from 2024 onwards.
