Description
This 2-day course introduces the participant to a structured methodology for business continuity and crisis management planning and follows through by examining the practical aspects of implementation after the plan is approved. Roles and responsibilities of personnel appointed to execute the plan in a crisis situation are also defined and gaps in the required competency levels addressed.
The course is a combination of theory and facilitated hands-on application whereby concepts are translated into practice using a set of templates.
Duration
2 days (Half day assessment for Singapore classes is needed to obtain the Statement of Attainment (SOA) from the Workforce Development Agency (WDA))
Learn How To
- Assist in the coordination and integration of crisis response and recovery activities in accordance with recovery and business continuity plans
- Execute individual roles within the crisis management plan in response to disruptive events
- Participate in the organisation’s emergency control exercises to validate the crisis management plan and to ensure organisational readiness
