Description
Crisis Communication Planner or CC-200 is a 1-day foundation course in crisis communication, designed to guide professionals for managing the communication aspect of a crisis, disaster or disruptive event. The course emphasises the principles and concepts of crisis communication. The Learner may undertake this as a standalone foundation-level course, or together with its intermediate-level companion course CC-300: Crisis Communication Implementer (1-day), which will further include crisis communication techniques and tools. All BCM Institute courses and workshops are facilitated by experienced instructors.
A formal examination follows the classroom training. This is a one-and-a-half hour 50-Multiple Choice Question (MCQ) based online examination.
This course is suitable for organisations and agencies who would like to their Business Continuity Management (BCM), Crisis Management (CM) and/or IT Disaster Recovery (DR) team members to have an overview of what is crisis communication. The participants will benefit from the introduction to crisis communication and also the relationship between its Business Continuity Management (BCM), Crisis Communication (CM) and Disaster Recovery (DR) implementation effort.
