Description
This 3-Day course is a unique competency-based Crisis Management course designed uniquely for participants with no crisis management background. The emphasis is to assist his/her crisis management counterparts as part of their role as emergency and incident management, crisis management and business continuity management team member.
Completing the 3-Day competency-based crisis management course also allows participants to achieve an internationally recognised Crisis Management certification, i.e. the Crisis Management Certified Specialist (CMCS)* certificate.
Certification
The Crisis Management Certified Specialist (CMCS) certification is awarded to participants who completed the 3-Day CM-360 Implementing Crisis Management Plan course and passed the Qualifying CMCS examination.
Objectives
- To train participants who do not have a crisis management background and are in the emergency and incident management, crisis management and business continuity management team to have the competency to establish a crisis management plan for their organisation.
Who Should Attend?
- Department Representatives, Business Unit BCM/Crisis Management (CM)/ Incident and/or Emergency Management Coordinators, Organisational BC Coordinators and Planners.
- Newly appointed BCM/CM/ Incident and Emergency Management team members.
- Any member of the organisation involved in the implementation of the Crisis Management Plan
Examination
No examination is attached to the course, but a WSQ Competency Assessment needs to be attempted and passed for Singaporeans and Singapore PR to obtain his/her WSQ Statement of Attainment (SOA).
Examinations are only applicable if participants attempt the Qualifying CMCS examination at SGD200.
The CMCS Examinations is 2.5 hours, with 100 online Multiple Choice Questions done in an invigilated room either at BCM Institute’s designated exam venue.
Course Fee
- SGD 2,400 (for non-Singaporean, Singapore PR)
- SGD 900 for Singaporean and Singapore PR who are 40 years old and older (after WDA enhanced funding 1)
- SGD 1,950 for Singaporean and Singapore PR who are 39 years old and younger (after WDA funding 1)
- All course fees include courseware and two tea breaks.
